SPED Faculty, Mary Requa awarded 2023 Faculty Research Grant!

Congratulations to Special Education Mild Moderate Support Needs Faculty member, Mary Requa. Dr. Requa has been  been awarded a 2023 GCOE Faculty Research Grant for her proposal titledPreparing Pre-service General and Special Education Teachers for Culturally Responsive Lesson Plan Design. It was reviewed by a committee of faculty and also by the Dean, and was found to be a strong proposal that met the goals of the funding and each of the required elements. It was determined that Dr. Requa has a highly professional study design, with outcomes that will strengthen not only her own research directions but have direct impact on GCOE candidates and courses.
