Early Childhood Special Education student spoke at Mayor's State of the City Address
Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) student Jennifer Lian Dudziec spoke at the Mayor’s State of the City Address on January 15, 2026, where she introduced Mayor Daniel Lurie.
As part of this, Jennifer shared about raising her family in San Francisco, attending City College, finishing her MA degree, completing student teaching as part of teaching credential requirements, and more. Jennifer also spoke about the ability for her family to send her daughter to nearby Slippery Fish Cooperative as part of the new Early Learning for All Program.

After attending City College, Jennifer joined SF State as part of the Child Adolescent Development (Early Childhood) Major and Special Education Minor. Currently, Jennifer is completing her MA in Special Education + Education Specialist (Early Childhood Special Education) Credential. As mentioned in the speech, Jennifer is completing her preschool/TK/Kindergarten student teaching experience at Slippery Fish Cooperative (on Brotherhood Way). Slippery Fish's Director, Sara O'Neill and the Slippery Fish team have been an instrumental community partner for our ECSE program.
